About Us

Shimto began life in 2006 with the intention of taking a good idea and making it better.

We have always loved fashion and realised while we were hard-up students that well-cut clothes made from good fabrics always looked better than their chain-store equivalents. We discovered dress agencies but were sometimes disappointed at how little of the stock was of the quality that we were looking for.

What we needed was a dress agency which specialised in quality fashion with some vintage and some quirky, unusual pieces. We also liked the idea of including top quality shoes, bags and accessories.

So here is shimto. Our customers often refer to us as an Aladdin’s Cave. We believe that we have a treasure in store for everybody, we'd love you to come and find yours.
